The problem

Your organization is more than a logo.

Every team, school, and league has a story. It's built through traditions, people, memories, and moments that create a sense of belonging. But sometimes the identity representing that organization no longer reflects what it has become.

  • Maybe your logo feels outdated.
  • Maybe your merchandise doesn't create the excitement it should.
  • Maybe your uniforms, social graphics, flyers, and other materials feel disconnected.
  • Maybe you have built something special, but your identity doesn't give your community something they're proud to wear and represent.

A strong identity does more than look good. It helps unite players, connect fans, strengthen community pride, and create something people remember.

Why this work matters

I believe sports have the power to bring people together.

Growing up, I saw firsthand how much a team's identity could mean. The colors, logo, and merchandise became part of the community. Families wore them. Players represented them. Fans rallied behind them.

Later, when I joined a club rugby team, I experienced the opposite. We had passion. We had pride. But our identity never reflected it. The logo and merchandise didn't capture what the organization meant to the people involved.

That experience stayed with me. Because a sports identity isn't just a graphic. It's the connection between an organization and the people who support it.

Today, I help schools, leagues, and sports organizations create identities that players wear with pride, fans rally behind, and communities remember.

How it starts

Start with a conversation. Find the right path forward.

The Legacy Session is a complimentary 30–45 minute conversation designed to uncover what your organization needs next. During our conversation, we'll explore:

Your Legacy

  • Where did your organization come from?
  • What traditions, values, and stories define your community?
  • What makes your organization unique?

Your Next Era

  • Why are you considering a change right now?
  • What do you want your identity to accomplish?
  • What would success look like?

Your Opportunities

  • Where is your current identity holding you back?
  • What could a stronger brand help you achieve?

At the end of the conversation, we'll determine the right next step for your organization. That may be a focused identity project, a complete brand transformation, or expanding what you already have.

Beyond the field

More than a logo.

The best sports identities don't stay on the field.

They're worn by families on Saturday mornings.

Hung as flags outside homes.

Set as phone wallpapers.

Printed on hoodies that get passed down.

Painted on curbs before rivalry games.

Sometimes they're even tattooed.

Because when an identity truly represents an organization, it becomes part of the people who support it.

That's what we're building.

Not just a logo.

An identity people are proud to represent.

The Legacy to New Era System

A process built around meaning.

Great identities aren't created by jumping straight into design. They're built through understanding, strategy, and intentional decisions.

01

Discover the Legacy

Every project begins by understanding your organization. We uncover your history, culture, traditions, and the qualities that make you unique.

02

Define the Identity

Research becomes strategy. We identify core themes, visual direction, and creative principles that guide every decision.

03

Craft the System

Strategy becomes identity. Your logo, visual system, and brand guidelines come together into a cohesive foundation.

04

Launch Into a New Era

Your identity comes to life. Through presentation, mockups, and rollout guidance, you'll have the tools to introduce your next chapter.

Who you'll work with

I'm Nick.

I design sports identities for teams and communities entering a new chapter. One studio, one designer, working directly with you start to finish. No account managers, no handoffs.

My approach is simple: research before design, built for the real world, made to last. I don't design logos for sports teams. I build identities that players wear with pride, fans rally behind, and communities remember.

Frequently asked questions

Questions answered.

Is the Legacy Session really free?

Yes. The Legacy Session is a complimentary 30–45 minute conversation to understand your organization, goals, and opportunities. There is no obligation to move forward. The purpose is to find clarity and determine the right next step.

Do you only work with existing teams?

No. The Legacy approach works for both established organizations looking to refresh their identity and new teams looking to create a strong foundation. Every organization has a story worth building from.

What if we don't know exactly what we need?

That's exactly what the Legacy Session is for. Many organizations know they want something different but aren't sure what the right solution looks like yet. We'll figure that out together.

How long does the process take?

Timelines vary depending on the project scope, organization size, and feedback process. Most complete identity projects take approximately 4–6 weeks.

Do you only create logos?

No. A logo can be the beginning of an identity, but it is only one piece. Depending on your needs, we can create a Legacy Mark, develop a complete Legacy to New Era System, or expand your identity through Elevate Your Identity.

What happens after the Legacy Session?

After our conversation, I'll review what we discussed and recommend the best path forward. If we're a good fit, I'll prepare a custom proposal outlining the scope, timeline, and investment. From there, we can begin building your next era.
